Who’s Who

A directory of other people who might be mentioned on this blog. More could be added in the future. If you want to know who I am, click on Annie or just read my blog posts, I suppose.

M: The porteño who managed to capture my heart. Like most Argentines, he still considers pasta a legitimate food group and a plays fútbol. He grew up in el Capital Federal and runs a business with his brother. I would live with him in BsAs, but as we are on different continents now, we are in a non-exclusive relationship.

Siobhan: The best friend with a matching appetite for adventure and good wine. After studying abroad in St. Petersburg, Russia, she got into documentary filmmaking. Now she’s living in Brooklyn, but she’s itching for a change of scenery. She told me that if I move to Buenos Aires, “there’s a 50% chance I’ll move too.” Since she doesn’t know much Spanish, she would teach English for the first months.

Mom & Dad: The original adventurers, these entrepreneurs taught me the value of travel and cosmopolitan living. Unfortunately, they feel as though they’ve taught me too well. Now that I am planning a move to Argentina, they are afraid I will move away from them forever.

Hey, I’m not sure when you’re moving down here, but I’m in a similar situation. A porteno capture my heart too, but I’m ready to go home.
